The staff member at check in was very polite and helpful but the 'resort' was extremely disappointing. We didn't expect 5 star luxury but were not expecting it to be so awful. It's next to main highway and the grounds look quite sad. I even booked the most expensive rooms (0/night) to make sure that it was going to be reasonably comfortable but that didn't help. The rooms are typical 70's decor motel rooms and having the spa in the corner of the bedroom with mirrors and lights simply made it look very dodgy.
But the worst thing seems to be the type of clientelle it attracts. The people next door were screaming at each other at 11pm and then at 3pm (when the nightclub closed) they and their other rowdy friends came back yelling, swearing and carrying on at the tops of their voices outside. They were clearly drunk and one stage they even broke a window to one of the rooms. I didn't even get to complain as the manager was at lunch when I checked out (we paid for a late checkout).
It seems to be the type of place that you would pass on through. It at least didn't look very appealing from the main highway or where we stayed.
